The International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF)’s Coalition Against Online Violence is formally launching the Online Violence Response Hub, a resource center where women journalists can come to find the latest information on online abuse.
The information ranging from the psychosocial trauma response to the latest digital safety guides, the Hub puts everything in one place, allowing the journalist to focus on their safety instead of having to comb the internet for answers.
The launch will be complemented by a series of Public Service Announcements sharing the stories of women journalists who have been the targets of severe online violence. The campaign will launch on July 28 and runs through August 6.
This is a project of the IWMF with the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), under the banner of the Coalition Against Online Violence. The Coalition is a collection of global organizations working to find better solutions to addressing the issue of online abuse, harassment and other forms of digital attack.
