Most parts of Kenya are likely to remain generally sunny and dry in the next one week, with average daytime (maximum) temperature likely to be high (more than 30 ℃) over some parts of North-western and North-eastern Kenya.

According to the Kenya Meteorological Department(KMD), the highland west of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria basin and the south Rift Valley, are expected to be sunny during the day and partly cloudy at night with occasional afternoon and night showers and thunderstorms over few places.

North and central Rift Valley, north-western Kenya, and the Highlands East of the Rift Valley including Nairobi County are also likely to be sunny during the day and partly cloudy at night with occasional afternoon showers which may occur over a few places, while in north-eastern Kenya, the coast and the south-eastern lowlands days are likely to be sunny and nights partly cloudy.

Meanwhile, weather reviews for 30th January to 5th February 2023  indicate that sunny and dry conditions prevailed over most parts of the country. However, light to moderate rainfall was recorded in some parts of Migori, Busia, and Isiolo Counties. KMD also reveal that both day-time (maximum) temperatures and night-time (minimum) temperatures increased over most parts of the country in the last two weeks.
