Occasional cold and cloudy conditions are expected over Highlands East of the Rift Valley, South-eastern lowlands, the Rift Valley and Highlands West of the Rift Valley, the Kenya Meteorological Department(KMD) predicts.

Further, the average night-time minimum temperatures will be less than 10°C across much of these regions, with rainfall expected over some parts.

Sunny days and partly cloudy nights are expected in the counties of Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa and Isiolo. However, occasional morning rains may occur over few places during the first half of the forecast period.
